Back in November I joined this all-women Afro-Brazilian Samba Reggae Percussion Band, on the Dobrado drum. These ladies totally rock my socks and we have a blast playing all sorts of gigs in the city! Look out for our next big one: The 2016 Annual Coney Island Mermaid Parade, June 18th, 1pm- Get there early!

January 10, 2016

For those in New York City, I am performing some of my original songs with a band in the ever-loungey upstairs venue of Pianos in the Lower East Side (158 Ludlow St., New York, NY 10002).

"Little Bug" performed with the Cambridge Philharmonic Orchestra

November 20, 2015

A little while back this summer, I had the joy to arrange the piece "Little Bug," composed by Emma Flornoy and Clara Sinephro for Emma's newborn niece. Recently, the Cambridge Philharmonic Orchestra performed it as part of the Female Composers Night on November 14th, 2015.

Debut Album in Progress

August 10, 2015

This weekend my band and I recorded tracks for my first album! This recording will feature my original songs, including beloved old songs I wrote a couple years ago as well as shiny new tunes that have only been heard by a few. I am so excited with how it's sounding so far, and can't wait to get this out there into the world. Stay posted for updates!

Berklee Commencement Concert

May 11, 2015

This weekend, I not only graduated from Berklee College of Music, but I also had the amazing opportunity to conduct my arrangement in the Commencement Concert at the Agganis Arena (in Boston University), which this year honored Julio Iglesias, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Harvey Mason, and Doug Morris. My arrangement was a medley of Iglesias's famous duets, "To All the Girls I've Loved Before" and "All of You."

Supergroup: 27 Club Memorial Concert

April 5, 2015

Yesterday was a "super" cool performace featuring legendary rockstars Warren Haynes (Gov't Mule, the Allman Brothers), Simon Kirke (Bad Company), Dave Ellefson (Megadeth), Tony “Thunder” Smith (Lou Reed), Barry Goudreau (formerly of the band Boston), Steve Bailey (Jethro Tull and Berklee), Gary Cherone and Pat Badger (Extreme), Josh Kantor (Fenway Park), and Woody Giessmann (the Del Fuegos). I arranged horns for the concert, played by some "super" Berklee students who's performances were killer!

Berklee Meets Susana Baca

November 14, 2014

As part of the Susana Baca concert, I have grown so much in these weeks preparing. It was the first time that I encountered Peruvian music and all of its rhythmic sensation, and I had to learn how to conduct a Festejo! Susana and her guitarist Ernesto Hermoza were such warm and gentle spirits, so inspiring that their performances brought tears to my eyes. I feel so honored to have had a hand in this project and to have met such incredible people. Thank you to Matthew Nicholl and Oscar Stagnaro for this opportunity.

Berklee Meets A. R. Rahman

October 25, 2014

Last night was incredible. I sat in Boston Symphony Hall and heard my string arrangements of A. R. Rahman's music played by the Berklee World Strings as part of the Berklee Meets A. R. Rahman concert. Rahman himself sang on the final number! The crowd was the largest and lowdest bunch I ever heard in a concert hall.
